I have been a little quiet lately, but just in writing, I assure you. I caught a little cold while hopping around JHB and Pretoria to find another form of employment, but thankfully today marks the end of my Job hunt. It has been a challenge to keep the spirits up at home with a looming financial catastrophe and the ever rising price of living, but all is well again and now I can focus my energy on my latest challenge.
I have been offered the wonderful opportunity of writing NinjaSAs news letter. I was hoping to write a couple of articles for it eventually, but Sensei David pleasantly surprised me with the whole news letter.
So after a week of taking it easy after the most physical grading to date for me, I feel charged and ready for at least one session against the bag this weekend, not to mention all the exciting new ideas I have for articles.
Next week I will be starting 5th kyu which entails knife work, my favourite and key ring, another favourite of mine. It promises to be a challenging and interesting kyu and I promise to keep the blog up to date with my experiences.
Embrace the shadows.
